Arable farmers raising money for breast cancer care

Woldmarsh Producers Ltd, one of the UKs leading farmer owned purchasing groups, is holding a Moisture Meter Clinic for its members on Thursday 24th May 2013 at their offices in Louth, Lincolnshire.  The event, which is being organised and sponsored by Grainsafe, will not only keep farmers compliant but will also raise money for charity.

For each meter tested, members will be asked for a donation to Breast Cancer Care. Breast cancer is now the most common cancer among women in the UK, with someone being diagnosed every 11 minutes, so the demand for Breast Cancer Cares free service is huge.

Micheal Summers from Grainsafe said: We chose Breast Cancer Care as most of us know someone who has been affected by it and the work the charity does is invaluable to thousands of women in this country.

For more information on the event, please contact Katie Jarvis-Grove at Woldmarsh Producers.
