The Amazone Pantera 4502, launched at Agritechnica 2013, has won a prestigious design award. For more than six decades outstanding design achievements have been honoured by the iF Design Awards and now the Pantera 4502 is among the winners.

This prestigious award acknowledges the work of Amazone’s designers and of the firm ErfoForm Design. They have managed to develop a striking, dynamic and clearly structured design which communicates its performance and high operational speed of the machine just by its appearance. The Pantera also scored well for the optimum all-round visibility from the cab and the functional filling and access concept because operator comfort and service friendliness of the design were also assessed positively, explains Amazone.

With this teamwork of design and performance, the Pantera 4502, which is registered in the category “transportation design/specialist vehicles”, convinced and inspired the iF Jury which consists of experts and designers from all over the world. The evaluation criteria of the jury also included, apart from the design concept, its finish and selection of materials, the level of innovation and the environmental friendliness, the functionality and ergonomics and finally its intuitive use and safety.
