The new premises at Dumfries
Thewinner of New Hollands Large Dealer Award; Lloyd Ltd, has recently relocated to newpremises in Dumfries to enhance its facilities and its network across the northof England and the Scottish Borders.
Therelocation marks a special year both for Lloyd and New Holland as they simultaneously celebrateGolden Jubilees Lloyd Ltd for 50 years of business and New Holland for the 50thyear of its flagship tractor plant in Basildon, Essex.
Lloyd’s modern and expanded new outlet in Dumfries has opened at the DumfriesEnterprise Park on Tinwald Downs Road and replaces the smaller former premises onthe Newbridge Industrial Estate. It employs a team of 30 people.
Thenew site covers four acres and features a two-storey building incorporating ashowroom, a large workshop, ramps and parts department. Completing the improvedexperience upstairs, is a large equestrian shop and a caf, where visitors canrelax.
Inthe extensive showroom there is also a full-sized model cab for customers toexperience a simulation of the benefits of New Hollands satellite-guidedPrecision Land Management.
TheDumfries facility is part of the companys existing seven-strong network coveringthe region with outlets also at Carlisle, Penrith, Kelso, Newcastle, BishopAuckland and Alnwick.
