UK tractor registrations for June continue double-digit increase

AEA tractor registration figures released today (5th July 2018) make very positive reading for the agricultural industry. Monthly and year-to-date figures both show a significant increase for tractors over 50hp.

Month :  1,187 Units       +14.4% change (compared with June 2017)

Year to Date :    6,530 Units       +6.3% change (compared with January-June 2017)

For the third month in a row UK registrations of agricultural tractors (over 50hp) showed double digit percentage growth, compared with a year earlier, in June. During the month, 1,187 machines were registered, 14% more than in the same month last year. This brings the total for the first half of the year to 6,530 units, nearly 400 (6%) more than in January to June 2017.

N.B. These data refer to ‘Agricultural’ tractors of a power exceeding 50hp.
