OPICO
has created a new sales manager position and appointed Charles Bedforth to take
responsibility of machinery and parts sales of both the He-Va and Opico brand
ranges.
Prior
to joining Opico, Charles spent 12 years working for Suzuki as regional sales
manager of ATV products for agriculture and sports quads for racing. He already
has an understanding of the farming industry and knows many of Opico’s dealers.
Charles has also worked for Amalgamated Plastics, in crop packaging sales, and
for agricultural dealership JWT Agriculture.
“With
the wide variety of machinery and equipment in the Opico and He-Va ranges, it’s
important to ensure that each product line within the range is competitive, and
that our dealers have the tools to help them market each product,” Opico’s
managing director, James Woolway, added.
“During
2009 we realised that we needed to strengthen our team in order to ensure
future growth, so we created the new position of sales manager. Charles, with
his industry knowledge and experience, is well-qualified to take on the role
and will be spending the next few months visiting our dealers and evaluating
the needs of the marketplace.”
