The Sulky sowing combination adds versatility, and provides high working rates in addition to balanced weight on the tractor, says Reco.
The new XEOS TF mounted sowing combination is available in both rigid and folding versions from 3m to 6m working width.
One thousand or 1,800-litre front hopper capacities are said to ensure balanced weight distribution during work as well as for road transport. The machine is equipped with either simple fitting-weights or a Pack Drive front press which has directional tires. Included as standard are LED working lights and road lighting.
Sulky’s own centralized ADS pneumatic metering system is used. The system includes as standard; proportional rate regulation related to the forward speed, managed by on-board radar and a Pilot control box with an electric-driven metering unit. With many stainless steel parts and with the function of full hopper emptying, the front TF tank is said to be versatile and can be used for seed or fertilizer.
Drilling toolbar options include 4.0m, 4.5m, 5.0m and 6.0m foldable versions, with three rows of Suffolk coulters, or two rows of Unidisc coulters with or without press wheels. The 3.0m, 3.5m and 4.0m rigid versions are available with the Cultidisc seeding unit with up to 80kg pressure per element a system already in use on other drills in Sulkys range.
Soil preparation is guaranteed, says the company, by Sulkys own Cultitine power harrow featuring four rotors per metre, a large 550mm diameter packer-roller and quick-fit tines. The Cultitine series is particularly efficient requiring minimal hp to run, it claims. An electro-hydraulic selector enables different functions to be remotely controlled, including folding of drill and markers, as well as optional hydraulic depth control, and optional hydraulic lifting of the drilling toolbar.
