Farmers across the country can get expert support and guidance on avoiding common RPA inspection pitfalls, creating habitats that work for farming and wildlife, navigating the buffer zone maze, and understanding the environmental contribution of cover crops, amongst other important topics, in a series of January and February training days.

Run by Agrii with the support of Natural England and the Centre for Ecology & Hydrology (CEH), the 10-venue programme is designed to provide growers with the best possible information and understanding on key areas of environmental management.

Eight separate working sessions will be led by farmed wildlife authority, Marek Nowakowski from the Wildlife Farming Company, farm business consultant, Paul Pickford, and Agrii agronomist and environmental support specialist, David Wild.

Modelled on the successful programme delivered by the team last winter, the
9am to 4pm days offer ample opportunities for active discussion in an open and constructive atmosphere with like-minded growers.

Lunch will be provided, together with the ‘famous prize quiz’ from 2016 in events
that promises to inspire growers in securing the most productive balance between their farming and wildlife in a world where this is set to become an increasingly important element of UK agricultural policy.

For full details of the training days and to reserve places on a strictly first-come, first-served basis at your nearest venue, contact Carol Tierney at Agrii customer services on 0845 6073322 or carol.tierney@agrii.co.uk.
