Massey Ferguson, a global brand of AGCO (NYSE: AGCO) is proud to announce that the latest, award winning new products will showcase at the Royal Highland Show in Ingliston.

Making its debut in the UK is the MF 7719 S, which recently won the Machine of the Year award at SIMA show in Paris. The MF 7719 S is part of the new model line-up, and represents the flagship model coming into the top of the mid-power range at 190hp.

All models are powered by the very latest, proven AGCO Power engines that meet the demanding Stage V emission standard using a straightforward, completely maintenance free system.

The three new models, which were unveiled at the SIMA show in Paris on 24th February, are the 165hp, MF 7716 S, 180hp MF 7718 S and the completely new 190hp
MF 7719 S. Engine Power Management provides additional power of between 20hp to 30hp, depending on model.

Heading the new Massey Ferguson MF 7700 S mid-range tractors is the new MF 7719 S, which is equipped with Massey Ferguson’s Dyna-VT, continuously variable transmission, as standard. Power is delivered by the latest 6.6 litres AGCO Power engine which delivers 190 hp. Engine Power Management (EPM), is providing a useful 30hp boost to meet PTO and hydraulic demands and for transport, the MF 7719 S reaching 220 hp in these conditions.

In common with the other new MF 7700 S tractors, it can be specified with up to 1.95m diameter, 20.8 R42 tyres for improved traction with low ground pressure. Its superb power to weight ratio and impressive 14t Gross Vehicle Weight enables it to increase its payload, helping to improve efficiency with front- and rear implement combinations, for example.

Smart and Efficient AGCO POWER Stage V compliant engines

All the new mid-power MF 7700 S tractors are powered by advanced six cylinder, 6.6 litre AGCO POWER engines. These generate 5hp more than their predecessors, combined with Engine Power Management (EPM), providing a 20hp boost on the MF 7716 S and MF 7718 S, and a huge 30hp boost on the MF 7719 S.

Massey Ferguson continues to meet even the latest, extremely demanding, Stage V emission regulations with maintenance-free technology, designed for the whole regular life of the tractor.

No external changes are visible in order to not compromise the MF 7700 S tractors’ superb visibility. Indeed, the exhaust is actually slimmer than its predecessor.

Like the award-winning ‘All in One’ system, available on the MF 5700 S Series, this new Stage V version still employs the same integrated diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) and selective catalytic reduction (SCR), along with the addition of a soot catalyst (SC), all combined in the same unit. Automatic and passive regeneration, which does not use any extra fuel, allows Massey Ferguson to maintain its best in class fuel consumption.

(Full details of this straightforward system are available on the dedicated press release).

Economical operation delivers low cost of ownership

Further improving economy is the 600hr engine service interval and new maintenance-free hydraulic valve clearance adjustment, which automatically sets the tappets. Low fuel consumption, ease of maintenance and high efficiency reduce running costs, helping operators to benefit from a low overall cost of ownership.

The Dyna-6 semi-powershift transmission, which is available on the MF 7716 S and MF 7718 S, is now equipped with new Super ECO facility to also improve economy (available from June 2019). This saves fuel by attaining the maximum 40 km/hr road speed at 1500 rpm and 50 km/hr at 1800 rpm, up to 17 % less than its predecessor.

Complete peace of mind

The new MF 7700 S Series is currently available with an MF Care package as standard. That provides customers with total peace of mind allowing them to know the total cost for the entire period. As part of dedicated sales offers available in certain markets, this can include up to 5 years warranty extension that can be combined with attractive financing plans (conditions apply and available in certain markets and participating dealers).

Datatronic 5 delivers touch-screen control

Massey Ferguson’s straightforward Datatronic 5 ISOBUS compatible terminal is standard on all new Exclusive MF 7700 S tractors and an option on the Efficient version. This provides comprehensive tractor and implement control, ensuring operators are able to make the most from their investment.

The clear and concise 9 inches touch screen, which is as easy to use as any tablet or smartphone, helps operators to access and change settings quickly and instinctively : A maxim of 3 actions and the parameter is set !

The ISOBUS compatibility of this terminal perfectly pairs with the Multipad joystick which is also compatible.

The operator will therefore be able to allocate each buttons of this ergonomic lever to a function on the hitched implement, offering comfort & efficiency.

Datatronic 5 manages full Precision Farming solutions including MF Auto Guide automatic steering from Massey Ferguson. With its ‘Go Mode’ it enables operators to quickly and easily set-up guidance lines as well as save implements.

In addition to MF Auto Guide automatic steering, users can also opt for other tailored solution from the MF Technology Portfolio such as MF Section Control™.
