We are a well-established and thriving diversified farm business located in the picturesque countryside of Norfolk. With a rich history and a commitment to sustainable farming practices, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Estate Director to join our dynamic team.

Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a high calibre Estate Director to lead the business into the future. Working closely with the owners, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our farm business, which encompasses a 840,000 broiler unit, 1500 acres of arable land (in a Contract Farming Agreement), renewables and commercial property.

An excellent package including accommodation will be provided for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure the long-term success and sustainability of the farm business, incorporating both agricultural and commercial property management objectives.
  2. Operational Leadership: Oversee all aspects of farm operations, including arable and broiler farming, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to sustainable practices.
  3. Financial Management: Work closely with the finance team to develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
  4. Commercial Property Management: Experience in managing commercial properties, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
  5. Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of agricultural and commercial property regulations.
  6. Team Development: Lead and inspire a diverse team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
