This role covers many areas of responsibility, including but not limited to the following:
• Providing management and strategic advice to an established, diverse range of Estates and Farming clients throughout the East and Southeast of England
• Identifying diversification projects
• Developing your own portfolio through the newly created Future Farming Resilience Fund
• Utilising some of the most progressive tools in the industry to dig deeper into your clients opportunities
• Preparing financial evidence on which to base your advice
• Researching and advising on rural grant funding and subsidy schemes
• Benchmarking business performance and provision of associate advice
• Liaising with professional, industry stakeholders
The successful applicant requires the following:
• Desire to provide high quality advice to farmers and landowners
• Skilled in maintaining and developing relationships
• The ability to function both as a strong team player and a focused individual
• Excellent analytical and numerical abilities
• Great communication skills both written and oral
• An aptitude for problem solving
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• An ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
• Some experience in farm consultancy is desirable, but not essential
