Lloyd Ltd expands its New Holland territory to Cheshire
22nd October 2025
Lloyd Ltd expands its New Holland territory to cover Cheshire and the full county of Lancashire following recent New Holland dealer network changes.

In June 2023, Lloyd Ltd expanded its area down into Garstang. A year later it opened its branch at nearby Cabus Nook, from which it has been selling the New Holland machinery range to many new and existing customers.
The site also includes extensive workshop and parts facilities, with an experienced team ready to support customers across Lancashire with sales, service, and parts, the company confirmed.
Lloyd’s managing director, George Lloyd, said: “This is an exciting time for Lloyd Ltd as it allows us to increase our market with New Holland, a key partner for our business from all eight of our current branches.
“The decades of experience we have across the company with the New Holland brand will be invaluable as we bring on board new members of the team to support this expansion.”
Mr Lloyd added that the extended Lancashire coverage will operate from the company’s current branch in Garstang, allowing for new staff to integrate smoothly with the staff and processes.
“It will also help us to get to know the area and our new customer base. This is a significant step forward for Lloyd Ltd and provides us with excellent opportunities for the future,” he continued.
Holmes Chapel depot set to open soon
Mr Lloyd also confirmed that Lloyd Ltd Cheshire will be based at the Holmes Chapel premises, formerly the Malpas Tractors depot, making it a familiar location in the region.
“We already have a number of experienced staff on board who can continue to support existing customers in the area.
“As with all our branches, our sales, service and parts teams combine working at the branch with getting out and about to customer sites, so this extended territory will work well with our current approach.
“We look forward to supporting New Holland’s customers throughout Lancashire and Cheshire and introducing them to the Lloyd Ltd team.”
The Holmes Chapel depot, which is set to open in the near future, will be the company’s ninth branch.

New Holland’s dealer network update
The announcement comes as New Holland has recently unveiled updates to its UK dealer network.
The changes will ensure continuity of sales and service support to all New Holland customers in the former territories of Rea Valley Tractors Ltd. which recently ceased trading, the manufacturer explained.
David Rapkins, CNH business director for the UK and Republic of Ireland, said: “This change represents an important expansion for these three dealer networks which are committed to delivering outstanding support to our New Holland customers. Our customers will benefit from the professional and dedicated support of these established groups.”
