The British Tomato Growers’ Association will host the British Tomato Conference on Thursday, 25th September 2025, at the Chesford Grange Hotel and Conference Centre in Warwickshire. 

Targeted at the professional horticulture sector, this annual conference is a critical platform for UK growers, allied industries, researchers, and policy influencers to gather, learn, and collaborate, the organisers said.  

The 2025 event will feature in-depth technical briefings, policy updates, and market intelligence focused on the strategic challenges and opportunities within protected cropping and glasshouse tomato production.

The programme includes: 

  • Policy deep dive: Insights from Defra, NFU, and Shadow Minister Robbie Moore MP on food security and plant imports. 
  • Market & campaign analysis: Consumer trends from Worldpanel by numerator (formerly Kantar) and campaign insights from Jack & Grace Communications.
