Trailer of Truth makes final stops ahead of Sunday’s big rally
25th September 2025
The Trailer of Truth has been making its way across the UK, drawing attention from farmers, politicians, and the wider public.

The campaign, organised by Farmers To Action, has been holding a number of meetings across the country to gather messages that will be delivered to the MPs this weekend.
The Trailer of Truth movement will conclude in Liverpool outside the Labour Conference on 28th September.
A spokesperson for the organiser said: “It’s time to unite. It’s time for all of us to stand shoulder to shoulder with our farmers and take on this Labour government and their empty promises.
“The time is now for the public to join hands with our farmers, stand as one, and push back. Join us as the ‘Trailer of Truth’ rolls across the country with Farmers to Action, and meet us in Liverpool on the 28th of September at the Labour Conference.
“As a country, we must unite and stand together to take the fight to this government and show them that farmers and the public are stronger together.”
‘Truth over spin, accountability over excuses’
Trailer of Truth has recently rolled through London, highlighting the current pressing issues for British farmers.
Farmers To Action, explained that the campaign is set to shine a light on the inheritance tax reform, rising National Insurance contributions, declining rural living standards and erosion of food and energy security.
The farmers are set to carry the message: ‘Truth over spin, accountability over excuses’.
Earlier this week, on 22nd September, farmers from County Durham and North Yorkshire gathered at Darlington Farmers Auction Mart to express their dissatisfaction with the current government.
They were joined by shadow minister for environment, food and rural affairs Robbie Moore.
He said: “It was fantastic to visit the Trailer of Truth today at Darlington Auction Mart and stand alongside farmers who are making their voices heard loud and clear.
“Every single farmer and rural business leader I spoke to is terrified about what Labour’s vindictive policies are doing.
“As the shadow farming minister, I will continue to do all I can to work alongside grassroots farming groups to make sure the voices of farmers are heard at the very top of government.”
The Trailer of Truth visits Thirsk, Skipton and Ormskirk this week before making its way to Liverpool on Sunday, 28th September.
