Brayfield Farms Ltd is searching for a skilled arable operator to join its small team.

Contract type: Full-time, permanent
Location: Cold Brayfield, Beds/Bucks, Northants border
Salary: Competitive package with accommodation available (if required).
About the company
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Brayfield Farm, a tenth-generation, family-owned, arable farm in Cold Brayfield. In addition to c.1200 acres of owned land, the farm manages a further c.1500 acres locally through contract farming agreements and operates a thriving 150kw anaerobic digester plant on site.
What are the responsibilities?
The role will include use of precision technology such as:
- Lexion 8700 combine
- 8m Vaderstad drill
- Fertiliser spreader
- Sprayers.
What will the successful candidate look like?
The successful candidate will:
- Possess a positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Have good attention to detail
- Be a good communicator
- Be able to work well independently as well as be a team player
- Have a willingness to work long hours including weekends and bank holidays when required
- Hold formal agricultural qualifications such as PA1/2/4 and telehandler certifications (not essential – training can be provided and tailored to suit)
- Be experience with combines and drills (Ideally).
