Richard Western showcases developments
31st December 2025
Shown on maximum flotation 600/55 R26.5 tyres, the SF18HS Super Suffolk silage trailer on the Richard Western stand at LAMMA 2026 will feature a new double flip sheet development.

The hydraulically-operated two-piece design uses a double-acting supply to swiftly operate a pair of robust steel framework structures, supporting strong polypropylene sheeting, securing chopped crop and protecting it from spillage.
Richard Western is also debuting one of its nurse tank units at LAMMA. The 50 cu m NT50 qualifies for government grants, and has a dual-purpose design, meaning it can also be used for transport during silage season.
Specification includes multiple inlet/outlet points, sight glasses, a full-opening hydraulic tailgate, and a hydraulic tipping body for efficient sediment emptying, with a single-displacement tipping ram. The three BPW axles feature standard rear- and optional front-axle steering. Recommended 600/55 R26 tyres match the large carrying capacity. Six wheels and two hydraulic jack legs provide full, robust support. The recommended hydraulic drawbar option provides improved ride and tractor traction on uneven ground.
The Richard Western DF hydraulically-driven hopper trailer can be used as a drill filler for high-output seeding, and for dispensing feed on, for example, outdoor pig units.
