Nexus Chafer launches following acquisition of Chafer Machinery and Horstine

Chafer Machinery Ltd and Horstine brands have been acquired by Nexus Technology and Engineering Ltd. The newly formed company will operate as Nexus Chafer Ltd.
UK-based Nexus Technology and Engineering Ltd specialises in advancing navigation and positioning technology, predominantly in the agricultural industry.
The company explained that the acquisition of Chafer Machinery and Horstine brands provides natural synergy within its existing portfolio and expertise.
“It is the start of a new chapter for both companies, founded on respect for heritage, continuity of excellence, and ambitious future growth,” said Nexus Chafer’s sales and marketing director, James Bilson.
“We recognise the strength of the Chafer brand and are proud to build on its solid foundations, extending over the last three decades.
“This acquisition represents more than a change in ownership. It is the start of a new chapter in the ongoing development of Chafer sprayers that retains a long-standing reputation, which boasts a dedicated and professional team, along with a loyal customer base that stretches to all corners of the UK,” he added.
Mr Bilson also extended his sincere thanks to the former directors, management team and staff of Chafer Machinery Ltd, who have ensured a seamless transition.
