Farmers blocked a regional distribution centre at Avonmouth Docks, part of the Port of Bristol.

The participants of the demonstration arrived at midnight and successfully managed to block three main routes in via a roundabout and held it strong for just over seven hours.
One of the protesters said: “All articulated lorry drivers were supportive of us, with a couple of them offering their bunk in their cabin for those that were tired and cold.

“Many joined us round the campfire for a barbecue with sausages bacon and burger rolls with teas and coffees.”
The protest called for fair prices for British farmers and the abolition of inheritance tax (IHT) for all.
