Founded over 180 years ago in Lincolnshire, Elsoms has continually evolved from serving local farmers to operating nationwide and now to reaching customers across Europe, the Americas and beyond.

Long-standing collaborations with partners such as Bejo, Saaten Union and Florimond Desprez have been central to that growth, and in recent years new international partnerships with Crookham Seeds and Crites Seeds have enabled Elsoms to supply pea and sweetcorn varieties across Europe, the company explained.

This period of expansion has also seen the establishment of Elsoms Trees in Scotland, extending the group’s capabilities and expertise. Moreover, Elsoms’ breeding programmes are now making an impact in key markets across Europe, North America and South America—demonstrating the company’s growing global reach.

The company’s team said that this new identity reflects Elsoms’ next chapter, which is rooted in independence, specialist expertise and a commitment to helping the world grow more from less by unlocking the power of plants.

‘New era for Elsoms’

Roger Keeling, chairman of Elsoms, said: “This brand evolution marks a new era for Elsoms. It honours our heritage while reflecting how we continue to evolve alongside our customers, meeting their developing needs through innovation, seed technology, and specialist expertise.

“It shows the strength of our past and the ambition that drives our future.”

Elsoms will also rebrand Europrise Co Ltd in Ireland following its transfer of ownership from Bejo earlier this year. Already a trusted distributor of Elsoms and Bejo seeds, Europrise will now operate as Elsoms Seeds, fully within the Elsoms Group, strengthening their presence in the region while ensuring continuity for Irish customers.

A spokesperson for the company added: “In a market increasingly dominated by multinational consolidation, Elsoms’ independence stands out. The new identity highlights the company’s ability to move quickly, collaborate flexibly and prioritise the real-world needs of its customers.

“With specialist knowledge across vegetable and agricultural seeds as well as trees, Elsoms remains focused on delivering practical, sustainable solutions that support resilience in agriculture, horticulture and forestry.”

The Elsoms team said that the rebrand is more than a new look; it is a statement of intent. By investing in research, technology and partnerships, Elsoms is ensuring it can continue to deliver innovation with purpose, helping customers meet today’s challenges and prepare for tomorrow’s opportunities, the team concluded.
