All sporting new dark grey tanks, Knight Farm Machinery has revised its sprayer range for 2026, topped by three KSP self-propelled models of 3,500-6,000 litres.
Knight has introduced a revised KSP sprayer line for 2026, with three models of 3,500-6,000 litres sporting new dark grey tanks.

Launched at LAMMA earlier this year, the range offers booms up to 40m and power from Perkins 175/235/300hp engines supplying individual wheel motors. Comfort upgrades include the air-suspended Claas X10 cab with Cat IV filtration, plus auto ride-height control.

Latest tech developments

New SmartRinse technology automatically manages application rate in the final stages of spraying to simplify rinse cycles and ensure tank, pipework and nozzles have been fully rinsed upon leaving the field.

Other technology includes Fluid Control Pro, which calculates required product quantity for a task and automatically operates the filling cycle.

Managed via the filling area computer or in-cab Isobus terminal, it uses entered information such as required application rate and field size to calculate the task’s required chemical volume, MAXImizer fluid control enables plumbing to be primed for full circulation, automatic agitation and instant nozzle response/switching, with clean water line purging similarly instant.

The latest MAXImizer PRO development has further reduced boom pipework by 21% for faster response and minimal retained fluid.

Nozzle control

Vario Select nozzle automation uses combinations of four different capacity nozzles on each body to provide up to 16 application rates up to 800-litres/min. It can also be used for spot spraying in conjunction with a prescription map, and uses computerised nozzle selection governed by required application rate and droplet size, minimum/maximum pressures and working speed range.

Vario Select also governs flexible rate control, and provides turn compensation through gyroscope measurement and instant switching between nozzle types for turn compensation.

KINS air-actuated nozzle switching technology means conventional nozzle body configurations can

accommodate single, triple or quin nozzle bodies, with each group of four bodies incorporating a

Smart Module configurable to provide section or individual nozzle switching. MAXImizer Pro provides continuous pressurised liquid flow and instant response.

Boom control

4D Active Boom Control is complemented by Contour Master terrain-tracking technology for tri-fold booms (30-40m). Four boom sensors control height, tilt, levelling and variable geometry of each boom side (+/-5-degrees).

A further 6G version of Knight Contour Master uses six sensors and Knight’s own technology to manage additional variable geometry points between inner and outer boom sections, adding full independent automatic movement of the outer sections, with +/-8-degrees of boom end movement.

Trailed and mounted options

New Knight KT trailed sprayers now span 24-45m/3,600-12,000 litres, with full Isobus connectivity, DCII advanced boom levelling, Fluid Control Pro work station, hydraulic drive spray pump, high capacity induction hopper, and sprung drawbar.

The latest KM mounted sprayer sprayers come in 1,300, 1,600 or 1,900-litre capacities with gull-wing booms up to 30m or v-fold units up to 36m.

The V-fold boom is compactly stowed within the width of the tractor to minimise transport width. Specification includes MAXImizer plumbing and air switched nozzles combined with GPS section switching.

Knight also offers 1,300-, 1,600 and 1,900-litre KM mounted sprayers, 1,300- and 1,500-litre KFT front tanks, and 2,500- or 3,000-litre KD demount sprayers for the JCB 4000 series Fastrac, with the compact rear v-fold boom (up to 36m) that packs away behind the tractor or the overhead folding gull wing boom of up to

30m. A forward-control JCB Fastrac conversion rounds out the range, in versions up to 4,000 litres/40m.
