The Big Beef Roadshow is taking place on Tuesday 28th May at 10:15am – 3:30pm at Corskie Farm, Garmouth, IV32 7NN.
Join SAC Consulting for the Big Beef Roadshow, a series of meetings funded by the Universities Innovation Fund sharing expertise from industry specialists to help beef farmers continue improving existing practices to drive beef systems forward, through increased efficiency and sustainability.
Hear from Francis Lively – Senior Beef Research Scientist AFBI – about the AHDB funded “Feed into Beef” project in collaboration with CIEL, AFBI, and SRUC. A 5-year project concluding in 2024. ‘’Feed into Beef” has focused on improving nutritional guidelines for the modern beef herd.
Other key speakers and topics for the day include timely discussions with SRUC vets, practical beef nutrition, herd fertility & research updates. This will be followed by an afternoon session where we take a tour around the host farm, getting to know more about their beef enterprises.
