SW Machinery Hire to showcase latest innovation at LAMMA 2026
30th December 2025
SW Machinery Hire Ltd returns to LAMMA 2026 at the NEC, following continued growth and expansion since its debut at the show in 2024. Providing flexible hire solutions to the agricultural, plant, festival and event sectors, SW Hire offers a diverse range of machinery to suit farms and businesses of all sizes.

Based in the South-West, the company delivers nationwide using its own lorry, supplying customers from Cornwall to Scotland. Hire periods range from two days to three years, allowing customers to tailor agreements to their specific needs — whether for long-term use or to boost capacity during peak times like harvest.
With machinery prices rising and ownership tying up capital in depreciating assets, SW Hire says hiring presents a smart alternative. It offers predictable budgeting with fixed costs, includes servicing to reduce downtime and unexpected expenses, and allows businesses to remain flexible in response to changing farming practices.
According to SW Hire, its modern fleet, with an average age of under 18 months, ensures customers benefit from the latest technology without a major upfront investment. Hire costs are also fully tax-deductible, improving overall cost-efficiency.
SW Hire’s fleet includes a wide selection of machinery:
- Tractors (100–400hp John Deere and Fastrac)
- Trailers (flatbed, low-loader, grain, silage, dump and people carrier)
- Telehandlers (agricultural and construction spec available with buckets and attachments)
- Muckspreaders (rear and side discharge)
- Hedgecutters (McConnel 6.5m telescopic reach)
- Excavators (1.5–15t with various attachments)
- Tracked Dumpers (6.5t with 180-degree rotation)
- Gators (electric and 4×4 diesel).
See the full machinery hire fleet and detailed specifications on the company’s website.

One of the newest additions to the fleet in 2025 was the JCB 542-100 AgriPro Telehandler. Featuring a 50kph dual tech variable transmission gearbox and retaining the capabilities of the popular 542-70 model, the 10-metre telehandler proved itself in the field and became a popular choice among straw contractors with an extra 3m reach.
SW Hire has also expanded its hedgecutter fleet in response to demand increasing mid-season. A particularly seasonal piece of machinery, the 6.5m telescopic hedgecutters, are hired in across the country for winter maintenance across highways and farms. With some farms only requiring a machine for a couple of days and others for the whole season, hiring a hedgecutter allows access to specialised machinery without the upfront cost of a depreciating asset, which sits idle in the yard the remainder of the year.
