Fast-fit flail challenge to be held at Lamma

A new fast-fit flail system for Kuhn hedge cutters will see Lamma visitors go toe-to-toe for a chance to win scale models of the machine.
Scale models of Kuhn’s Pro-Longer hedge cutter will be up for grabs for competition winners.
A new fast-fit flail system for Kuhn hedge cutters will see Lamma visitors go toe-to-toe for a chance to win scale models of the machine.
Centre stage on the Kuhn stand (12.434) will be a 1.2m hedge cutter flail head rotor, fitted with 24 fast-fit flails. Show visitors will be invited to compete for the fastest complete flail change.
Kuhn says its new fast-fit system allows flails to be changed quickly, without tools, and with complete safety in use. It will be available from September 2020 on Kuhn’s Agri-Longer GII, Multi-Longer, Poly-Longer and Pro-Longer hedge cutter models – and it can be retrofitted.
The flails are securely held with a precision engineered shaft that interlocks with the two rotor lugs, and are priced the same as conventional flails, Kuhn says.
Kuhn will run the competition over both days of Lamma (7-8th January), awarding scale models of the Kuhn Pro-Longer with tractor, as the prize for the fastest complete flail change during each morning and afternoon session of the event.
