Suffolk farmer killed in ‘industrial incident’

Police were called to reports of an incident at a farm in the Woodbridge area of east Suffolk.

A Suffolk man has been confirmed dead following an industrial incident on a farm last week. 

Suffolk Constabulary said they were called by the ambulance service at 4.50pm on Thursday, 4th September, to the farm in Woodbridge.

A police spokesperson said: “A man was subsequently declared deceased at the scene a short time later.”

According to the force, initial enquiries found no suspicious circumstances and the investigation is being reviewed with the Health & Safety Executive.

HSE has been approached for comment.
