Bradley Engineering is well known for its agricultural automation products and is well established in the palletisation and robotics sector. Using its existing knowledge and some innovative developments it is now offering a complete range of weighing and packing items to complement its existing lineup.

Back in November at the 2023 British Potato show, the company launched its new brand AgriPack, showcasing its new hybrid potato and root crop weigher, which is available in capacities from 5–50kg at speeds ranging from 480–600 packs per hour.

The AgriPack range covers Bradley Engineering’s weighing and sealing machinery, suitable for a broad range of products from aggregates to potatoes and vegetables and can fill and seal paper sacks, cardboard and polystyrene boxes and cardboard or plastic trays.

The AP480 hybrid weigher shown at the BP23 show is capable of 12 tonnes per hour with minimal giveaway. Innovations include a double swan neck conveyor system with scooped flights, designed to keep machine footprint as small as possible, to allow for those with tight space requirements to be able to upgrade their system.

It singulates top up belts for reduced giveaway and utilises a three-bucket system to minimise wastage and maximise output. That technology was taken from the development of the more traditional large form factor multi head available from November 2024.

Bradley’s automated bag sewing equipment line-up has something suitable for every size and capacity grower, from the simplest flat belt stitcher utilising the smaller and more cost effective NP7A sewing machine, to V-track stitching lines with Verti-bag control and the high capacity DS9C from Newlong.

Any combination of options can be put together to build a machine that’s right for you. You can speak to the team at LAMMA ‘24 where Bradley Engineering will be exhibiting with its industry partner Burdens Group.
