New managing director for KRM as owners pass the baton

After over 30 years in business, Keith and Marilyn Rennie, of Keith Rennie Machinery, have announced that Mike Britton has been appointed managing director and will now assume responsibility for the day to day running of the company.

Since establishing KRM (Keith Rennie Machinery) Ltd back in 1986, Keith and Marilyn Rennie have been at the helm of the company, guiding it to success and profitability, alongside Roger Robinson before his retirement.

Their initial philosophy was focused on crop establishment products sourced from specialist suppliers of quality equipment – offering class leading performance, efficiency and cost-effectiveness, backed by first class sales and after sales support. This has led to KRM becoming widely recognised as a leading brand in the agricultural machinery market.

However, the time has now come to pass the baton on and KRM has announced that Mike Britton, one of its employees, has been appointed managing director to assume responsibility for the day to day running of the company.

Mike Britton started with KRM in 2002 having gained a BSC Hons in Agricultural Engineering with Marketing and Management at Harper Adams. Since joining KRM, Mike has been responsible for a sales area, so fully understands all aspects of the company’s products and has wide experience of the requirements of both dealers and the end user.

Keith and Marilyn Rennie will continue to have an interest in the company with Keith being chairman in the new structure. They would like to thank both dealer and farmer customers for their support over the years in making KRM the success it has become.
