Cereals offers early bird tickets for free
16th February 2021
Cereals 2021 is offering free early bird tickets for visitors who register before the end of March, enabling people to finally look forward to a physical event.
“Times are uncertain, and we wanted to provide farmers with a no-risk way to put the event in the diary and to enjoy it,” explains event organiser, Alli McEntyre. “Cereals will be the first of Comexposium’s physical European events held this year and we know both farmers and exhibitors are eager to get back to it. Providing free tickets means visitors can be confident in their decision to register.”
In the run up to the event, attendees can access four preview webinars which will profile an important topic covered in each theatre at the event. “This will give visitors a flavour of what they can expect, whetting appetites for the event itself and getting people thinking about the important issues which will be covered,” adds Ms McEntyre.
The flagship AHDB theatre will cover numerous topics over the two-days, from ELMS and the Agriculture Bill to climate change and quick fire scientific / technical sessions.
In the new Sustainable Solutions theatre, in collaboration with the National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs, visitors can get to grips with regenerative farming and how to make it profitable. “The second day will focus on soil health; from the latest science and research into the microbiome through to cultivations and drainage,” says Ms McEntyre.
Also new to the table is the British Innovation theatre – which focuses on new technology to support farmers – and the Market and Farm Diversification theatre, which explores market challenges and opportunities as well as value-adding prospects. “We will be recording all of the seminars so ticket holders will have access to them after the event; this way, if you don’t make all the sessions, you can catch up afterwards,” she adds.
As well as a packed seminar programme, visitors will have access to their long-time favourites, including crop plots, the NIAB Soil Pit and the Syngenta Sprays & Sprayers Arena. New to the event will be the Isuzu Driving Course, the NAAC Drainage Demo and an expanded Drone Zone.
“We are keen to provide visitors with the invaluable opportunity to see everything in action, to interact and network, as they have done previously,” explains Ms McEntyre. “But rest assured that Covid-19 safety measures will be implemented to all aspects of the site to ensure everyone’s wellbeing is maintained and government guidelines are adhered to.
“Within this framework, we are really looking forward to delivering a physical event again, with farmer favourites, new innovations and invaluable industry information.”
The Cereals Event will be held in Lincolnshire on 9th-10th June 2021. For more information or to register for tickets visit www.cerealsevent.co.uk.
