Stands now available for UK’s top regenerative livestock farming event

Stand sales are now live for Down to Earth North and South, the UK’s top regenerative farming event for livestock producers.

Following unprecedented demand for the inaugural event in 2022, which attracted over 1,700 visitors over the one-day show, the decision was made by the event organiser, the RABDF, to launch two shows in 2023.

A high-input, high-output dairy farm in Somerset and an organic and certified pasture-fed dairy farm in Cumbria will host the two Down to Earth events this summer.

On Wednesday, 21st June, Neil Baker will open his gates at Haselbury Plucknett for visitors to see his high-yielding indoor herd of 1,800 predominately Holstein cows in action. Neil is one of Arla’s regenerative pilot farms.

Then, on 6th July, Mark and Jenny Lee, Park House Farm, Torpenhow, will showcase their organic unit. Their farm consists of 175 milking crossbred cows, certified 100% pasture fed by Pasture for Life and mob-grazed on a 30-40 day rotation using 2.5km of grazing tracks. Half of their milk goes into the farm’s cheese-making business, and the rest is sold to First Milk.

What is Down to Earth?

Down to Earth is designed to showcase practical regenerative farming techniques that can improve productivity, reduce input costs, and protect the environment. It offers an arena where the whole industry can come together, address the opportunities, facts, and science surrounding its principles, and see them in action.

The event is tailored for dairy, beef and sheep farmers, offering something for everyone. Whether farmers are new to this topic and just curious or looking for practical take-home strategies to implement and enhance what’s already being done on the farm, through to those who want to follow a full regenerative journey, Down to Earth is the place to be.

Why exhibit?

Regenerative agriculture is one of the fasted-growing areas within farming, making now the right time for companies to showcase their product or service to farmers as they transition to more environmental-focused farming methods.

New for this year is the opportunity for exhibitors to book live demonstration slots to showcase their kit in action.

Stand sales start from £500, with discounts available when exhibiting at Down to Earth North and South.
