Man suffers serious injuries in tractor collision

Police Scotland are appealing for information after a man was airlifted to hospital following a collision between a motorcycle and an agricultural tractor in Elgin.

A 38-year-old man was said to have sustained serious injuries in the collision, which occurred on Sunday 27thJune at around 1.20pm on Pluscarden Road, Elgin.

The patient was flown to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary by Air Ambulance and his current condition is not known.

Road policing sergeant Scott Deans said: “Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances of this incident.

“Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage, is asked to contact police on 101 via or the Police Scotland website.”
