AHDB: Know your soils

Join AHDB, in collaboration with Catchment Sensitive Farming (CSF) on Thursday, 22 February 2024, 10:15am – 2:30pm, at Bickerton Village Hall, Long Lane, Bickerton, Malpas, SY14 8AU, for an informative day focused on integrating soil biology, physics and chemistry as part of the soil health scorecard.
This meeting aims to foster knowledge sharing and exchange among farmers, providing practical advice on improving and maintaining healthy soils and how your soil management can fit with the new Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI).
The lineup includes speakers from AHDB and CSF and a host farmer.

- 11:30am – Soil management in relation to Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI)

- 12:45pm – Introduction to farm and farm walk with a focus on visual evaluation of soil structure
